To Betty's family, I am so very sorry for your loss. I loved Betty. She was an outstanding mentor and boss to me. She was always uplifting and supportive and I couldn't have asked for a truer friend. I know many other people who have worked with and for Betty and I doubt there are any that would say an unkind word about her. She will truly be missed. I will definitely miss you Betty. While we can't visit on the phone any more, we will meet again. Til then, rest in peace. Julie Chaudoin

Small but demands respect

Betty (our cousin) was small but a giant inside. During a visit with us she had an assignment to contact the Commanding Officer at Mt. Home AFB.as part of her job with the Air Force. Rather than rent a car she elected to have us drive her to the base in Mt. Home Idaho. We had a fairly new Cadillac and it added to her stature to arrive in a Cadillac. The sentry at the gate assumed that it was someone of importance and radio'd ahead describing Betty, her mission, and the car. We were met by an Officer in a jeep who escorted Betty to the CO's office, assuming that she was of utmost importance. (she really was to us). After her official visit and concluding her business with the "CO" we were again escorted to the gate by the "CO" personally.

Betty said that she had never felt so important although she always was important to us.

Bill and Mary Miller, Meridian Idaho.
