David Dwight Perry, age 76, passed away on December 11, 2024 in Olivehurst, Ca.

David was born in Long Island, NY to Burch and Helen Perry on March 12, 1948. He married Donna Stothers on March 24, 1973. David and Donna raised three girls; Wendi, Steffanie, and Lisa. David served in the United States Army and is a Vietnam Veteran receiving National defense service medal, Vietnam service medal, Vietnam campaign medal, Army commendation medal, and Good conduct medal. After Honorable service, David worked in construction building mobile homes and then became an Airplane Mechanic working at McClellan Air Force Base, where he retired in 1999. David was involved early on in hot rods and enjoyed working on cars. David enjoyed animals, and working in the yard. David enjoyed decorating for Christmas for the children and in memory of Donna’s mother. David’s biggest achievement is his family that he is very proud of and loved dearly.

David is survived by his wife, Donna, of 51 years, and Daughters - Wendi, Steffanie, and Lisa Boyd. Son- in-law Michael Boyd. Siblings - Meri Kaestner, Bruce Perry, and Helen Reichard. Grandchildren - Devyn, Jazminn, Kailey, and Austen. Great granddaughter - Anora. David is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and three sisters.

Funeral Services will be announced to the family in the Spring of next year. David’s ashes will be laid to rest with military honors at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon, Ca. Close family and friends are encouraged to reach out to Donna with any questions they may have.
