John was a life long friend & brother to me. When he returned from Viet Nam we helped each other adjust to life back home. He was there when I needed him most & I will always remember him as family. For over 45 years we were joined by a spiritual presence. I was there through both good & bad as we traversed our own paths in life.
I will miss you as I do any family.
I'm reminded of a saying that seems to fit:
Life is a journey, not a destination. To finish the moment, to find the journey�s end in every step of the road, to live the greatest number of good hours, is wisdom.
