Obituary of Sue Nell Garland

Sue Nell Garland, "AKA" Nanny, 81 years old, of Marysville, CA, passed away on December 29, 2018, in her home in Marysville, CA. Sue was born in Warner, OK, to father, Bradly Harris and mother, Gladis Willbanks on January 1, 1937. She was the Owner/Operator of Traveler's Cafe and Traveler's Hotel 30+ years. She enjoyed going to church and helping the homeless and mentally ill. She has acheived honors from the Yuba-Sutter Mental Health for helping the community. Sue is survived by her daughter, Renee Newell of Olivehurst, CA; 4 grandchildren, Heather Elliott; and Tiffany Garland of Marysville, CA; Jessica Cook of Olivehurst, CA; and Kyle Lyon of Live Oak, CA; and 8 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Daniel P. Garland; and her son, Daniel Paul Garland Jr.; and both of her parents. Final Services will be held Thursday, January 10, 2019, 10:30 am, at Sierra View Mortuary, 4498 Olive Ave., Olivehurst, CA.
