Harold Shaw left this earth to be home with Jesus October 5, 2018. His life in Yuba City had a great impact on those who knew him, served on various boards and committees with him, and worked for him and with him. Harold was an Air Force veteran retiring from Beale AFB in 1974. Harold began his military with the Army-Air Corp in 1944. He served in the European Theater during WWII. When the two branches split, Harold went to the Air Force where he served proudly his remaining 27 years, moving from assignment to assignment, until settling in Yuba City. Harold was preceded in death by his wife, Ada. They were married for over 68 years at the time of her passing in January 2015. Harold leaves behind 3 children: son, Gerry Shaw and his wife Ann, of Colorado, daughter, Linda Klontz and her husband Jim of Texas and daughter, Sandra Brekken and her husband Guttorm of Norway. He also leaves four grandsons, Chris of Texas, Eric, currently stationed at RAF Lakeheath England, Mike of Omaha, Nebraska and Charlie of Randolph AFB, TX, and 11 great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
