Obituary of Angelo Mario Perata

Angelo Mario Perata, 81, of Yuba City California, passed away on September 17, 2018 in Yuba City, California. Angelo was born in Alameda, California to Joe and Isabella Perata on February 4, 1937. He earned his bachelor’s degree at Chico State University in Mechanical Engineering and continued a 40-year career as a Mechanical Engineer. He spent most of his career in Chico California until relocating to Kentucky in 1988. He finished his career in Kentucky retiring in 1997 from Matthews Conveyors. He recently relocated back home to California to enjoy his hometown. Throughout his life he had many hobbies including; bowling, golfing, poker and perfecting his computer skills with the help of his grandson, Joshua Revell. He also enjoyed working on “projects” with his brother Tony Perata. Angelo is survived by his Wife of 60 years, Barbara Perata, his two children, Michael Perata and Debbie Perata, a brother Tony Perata and his pride and joy, his grandson Joshua Revell. He is preceded in death by his father, Joe Perata, his mother, Isabella Perata and a brother Johnny Perata. Graveside services will be held at Sierra View Mortuary in Olivehurst California on Friday, September 21, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. Sierra View Mortuary will be handling the arrangements.
