Suzette A. Johns Davis Yorton, born on Dec. 12, 1945, and passed away on June 9, 2018. Suzette was born in Marysville, graduated from Norte Dame High School, and lived most her adult life here. She met and married Billy L. Davis. He swept her away to a wonderful life in the Air Force. Together, they had two daughters, and spent 20 years being stationed all over before retiring and returning home to Marysville to be closer to her parents. Suzette is survived by her two daughters, Georgette (John) Alcocer of Marysville, and Jacqueline (Dechunn) Thomas of Yuba City.; three grandchildren, Sabrina Valdez of Sacramento, Alexander Johnson of Marysville, and Jessica Alcocer of Santa Rosa; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Gary T. Johns of Sacramento, and G. Michael Paine of Marysville; and lots of nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Dorothy Paine, and a sister, Sondra Yorton, all of Marysville. Suzette loved any outdoor activity, boating, fishing, and swimming. She loved throwing a great fish fry, or a BBQ. Anyone who knew her enjoyed her great sense of humor, caring nature, kindness, plus her strength, and loving way. She lived her life without regrets, by her own rules, she never had a complaint, always making sure she and everyone around her were having the best time. She will be deeply missed by her whole family. Her favorite quote: Don’t cry because it’s over. Smile because it happened ~ Dr. Seuss Services by Sierra View Mortuary: 11 a.m. Friday, June 22,2018
