Obituary of Jack T. Bell
Jack T. Bell, age 93, of Yuba City, passed away peacefully on Ocyober 20, 2017. He was born on April 6, 1924, to John and Mary (Pugsly) Fowler. Jack served in the United States Marine Corps during World War II in the Pacific Islands. Upson his discharge from the service, he met and married his beloved wife Norma. Jack worked as an Electrician, then as a Civil Engineer, before becoming a boiler installer in Washington State. Upon his retirement, he moved to Yuba City, where he and Norma opened Yuba City Music Store, which he owned and operated for 20 years. Jack is survived by his children: Clara Brown, Anne Pickett, and Chuck (Gemma) Bell; grandchildren: Mary, Charlene, David, Jack, David, Matthew, Lori, and Matthew; and 10 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Norma, and his son, David. Friends are invited to visit on Friday, October 27, from 10 a.m. until Noon at Sierra View Mortuary. A chapel service will be held at Noon and committal will follow at Sierra View Memorial Park.
