Please share a memory of Margaret to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Margaret Ann Doidge, age 85, of Olivehurst, California passed away February 5th, 2017, from progressive COPD and congestive heart failure. Margaret was receiving comfort care by the kind nurses at the Fountains in Yuba City, California. Margaret was born in Gridley, Kansas to John and Matilda Schick. Margaret was preceded in death by her brother, Morris Charles and is survived by her brother, Robert Schick, her daughter, Monica Oakes, sons, Thomas Doidge and Stephen Doidge. Likewise, Margaret (Grammie) is survived by 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Margaret's greatest joy was when the family would gather. As the family grew she would always look around at all present and say, "and I started this mess" with a big smile and chuckle. Her family was the center of her life. She loved her family with all her heart. Long ago Margaret prepared for the day she would leave this earth and be in heaven. She wished to be cremated and interned at Sierra View Memorial Park. A private family service will be held on February 9th, 2017. In lieu of flowers please send donations to the First United Methodist Church, Care of Lelah Holmes, 730 D Street, Marysville, CA 95901. Sierra View Mortuary is assisting the family with the arrangements.
