Obituary of Dean Stiles (Hugh)

Dean Stiles, 89, beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother passed into our Lord's hands on September 17, 2016, surrounded by family. Loving mother of Ronnie Shaw (Robert), Kathy Pinkard (Mark), and Lynn Hord (Myron). Adored Grandma of Amber Jones (Josh), Karynne Morey (Brandon), Jennifer Mathews (Jeremy), Daniel Eiszele (Amy) and Teresa Davison (Jason). Cherished Great Grandma of Logan, Haylee, McKynzie, Tyler, Hanna, Nolan, Lily, Leah, and Davi. Dean was born on May 22, 1927, in North Bend, Oregon to Kathleen and Jack Hugh. She was married to Jim (deceased) for 61 years and proud to be a Navy wife for 21 years. Dean was very involved with the Catholic Church and other activities with her children throughout the years. She was a die-hard Oakland Raiders fan and she and Jim were season ticket holders for many years while they lived in Alameda. After retirement Jim and Dean traveled throughout the western United States for several years making many wonderful friends. She was a member of the Moose Lodge. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Isidore Catholic Church on Friday, November 4, 2016 at 12:30 p.m. with Fr. Avram Brown officiating, burial to follow at Sutter Cemetery. Please join us following burial for a Celebration of Life at the Sutter Youth Organization, 7740 Butte House Road, in Sutter.
