Obituary of Angelo R. Danna

Angelo R Danna, Sr., age 93, of Yuba City, passed away on August 27, 2016. He was born on August 17, 1923, in San Jose, CA to Angelo and Antonina Danna. Angelo leaves behind three children: Angelo Danna, Jr., Anna Marie Danna, and Joseph L Danna, all of Yuba City; 6 grandchildren: Tim Danna, Tony Danna, Matt Danna, Marianna Lamb, Alyssa Danna and Katlyn Danna; and 4 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 53 years, Polly Danna. Angelo was one of five brothers who founded Danna and Danna, Inc. in San Jose, CA. He and his brothers started farming in Yuba and Sutter County in 1939 and he had a happy and full life doing what he loved. Angelo was a loving husband and wonderful father to his family. Angelo moved his family from San Jose to Yuba City in 1972, where he has lived for the past 44 years. Friends are invited to visit on Tuesday, September 6, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Sierra View Mortuary. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 7, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Isidore Catholic Church in Yuba City. Committal is private. Services are under the direction of Sierra View Mortuary.
