Obituary of William Edward Patterson

William Edward Patterson, age 91, of Marysville, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2016. He was born in East Texas on August 31, 1924, to Thomas Jefferson and Viola (Ballard) Patterson. Bill worked in heavy construction for 50 years, and was a member of the Local Carpenter's Union #1599. He also loved hunting and fishing. Bill is survived by his beloved wife of 74 years, Ruth (Bradley) Patterson, one daughter, 2 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 4, at 6 p.m. at Lighthouse Christian Center, 5174 Chestnut Road, in Olivehurst. A graveside service will take place on Thursday, May 5, at 10 a.m. at Sierra View Memorial Park. Sierra View Mortuary is assisting the family with the arrangements.
