Obituary of Wilda Louise Ross

Our precious mother, Wilda Louise Ross, went to Heaven on the wings of angels to be with her Lord and Savior on November 27, 2015. Mom was born, grew up, met and married the love of her life, Robert A. Ross, Sr. in Benton Harbor, Michigan. They brought their family to central California in 1967, making Yuba City their final home in 1974. Mom held several jobs in Yuba City, but the one she loved most was helping raise a set of twins. She was a member of East Linda Pentecostal Church of God where she taught Sunday School, Junior Church, and led a widows group called The Ladybugs. Her faith in God was strong. Our mother is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Robert A. Ross, Sr., both her parents and several family members. She is survived by her son: Robert Ross, Jr. and wife Margaret; daughters: Karen Willis and husband Willie and Sherrie Shaw, all living in Yuba City, CA; granddaughter: Christy Walton and son Sabastian of Sergeant Bluff, Iowa; grandsons: Jamie Walton and wife Stephanie, children Camryn, Logan, Paul, and Samuel of Blackwell, Oklahoma, and Harry Ines and wife Heather, children Rosella and Landon of Marysville, CA. Friends are invited to visit on Tuesday, December 8, from 4 pm until 7 pm at Sierra View Mortuary. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 10, at 2 pm at Sierra View Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to East Linda Pentecostal Church of God, Building Fund, 5781 Griffith Avenue, Marysville, CA 95901. Sierra View Mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements.
