Obituary of Stanwood Joseph Haskell
Stanwood J. Haskell, Sr. Stan Haskell, of Marysville, passed away on October 28, 2015, due to a short illness. Stan was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He had a strong faith in God, was generous towards others and selfless in every way. Stan was born on February 13, 1943, in Lewiston, Maine to Harold A. and Karolina S. Haskell. He served in the United States Air Force from 1961 to 1981. Following his retirement, he went to work for the Department of Defense as a Special Investigator. Stan is survived by his wife, Deborah Wellman-Haskell of Marysville, son, Stanwood J. Haskell, Jr. (Carmela) of Temecula, CA, daughters, Karen Ehrlich (David) of Shingle Springs, CA and Wanda Estores (Dante) of San Jose, CA, grandchildren, Cameron and Alanna Haskell of Temecula, Matthew and Natalie Ehrlich of Shingle Springs, Nathan Estores and Nadine Estores (Thomas Gallagher) of San Jose, and two great grandchildren, Grayson and Ethan Gallagher of San Jose. Stan is also survived by Deborah's children, Gregory Wellman (Chantel) of Sacramento and Gabrielle Wellman (Daniel Tejada) of Yuba City, his brothers, Donald (Mary) Haskell of Washington and Harold Haskell of Indiana. He is predeceased by his first wife, Norma A. Haskell, his parents, his brother, Alan Haskell, and sister, Ann Poston. Services will be held on Wednesday, November 11, 2015, at 2 p.m. at Sierra View Memorial Park. Sierra View Mortuary is assisting the family with the arrangements.
