Obituary of Leonard Leon Parker
Leonard Leon Parker, of Olivehurst, passed away peacefully on his 88th birthday, September 27, 2015. He was born in Guild, Oklahoma on September 27, 1927, to Richard Robert and Laurlie May Parker. Leonard loved to spend time with his family and friends and fishing. Leonard was always tinkering, working on cars, and working with his hands. He was famous for creating all types of useful things which were called "Parker Specials". He was always known to be a man of his word. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Mr. Parker is survived by his daughter, Shirley Jo Parker O'Connor; his granddaughters: Kathy Tannehill and Alonna Foster; great grandchildren: Brandon Tannehill, Alyssa Tannehill, Kenneth Foster, Jr., and Steven Foster; and great great granddaughter: Brielle Tannehill. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Edwana Jo Parker. Friends are invited to visit on Thursday, October 1, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Sierra View Mortuary. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 2, at 1 p.m. at Sierra View Memorial Park. Sierra View Mortuary is assisting the family with the arrangements.
