Obituary of Ann I. Malott (Murphy)
Ann I. Malott, age 80, of Yuba City, passed away peacefully on August 12, 2015. She was born in Houston, Texas on July 11, 1935, to Thomas and Zora (Loving) Murphy. Ann worked as a waitress for 20 years and managed the PX Annex at Beale Air Force Base for several years. She also spent many summers as a campground host. Ann enjoyed traveling, and lived in the Azore Islands and Panama. She also attended Feather River Baptist Church in Olivehurst. Ann was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend and will be dearly missed. Mrs. Malott is survived by her loving husband, Ray Malott; four children: Debra (Bernard), James (Lorna), Louis (Naomi), and Vicky (Harvey); 9 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; and three sisters in Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 21, at 10 a.m. at Sierra View Mortuary with committal to follow at Sierra View Memorial Park. Sierra View Mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements.
