Obituary of Andrew James "Drew" Wellemeyer

Andrew James Wellemeyer Jr. On July 17, 2015, "Drew" passed away due to a car accident. He was 10 years old. Born Feb. 14, 2005, in Bethesda Maryland. He is survived by his father Andrew Wellemeyer; brother, Hayden and sister, Hayley; his maternal grandparents, Jim and Linda Barber; uncle, Chris Barber (Debra) of Marysville; great grandmother, Mary Shockley of Olivehurst; paternal grand parents, Bob and Lorna Shandley of Burney, CA; uncle, Reggie Wellemeyer (Kristen) of Antioch; and several other uncles, aunts and cousins. Drew would have been in 4th grade at Cordua School in Hallwood. He loved to read, watch movies and he was a dreamer. He loved history and art. See you in heaven Drew. When we think of Drew we will think of the moon and stars he loved to watch so much, and know he's with the angels in heaven. He was a precious gift from God. We will love you forever. Services will be held at Sierra View Mortuary, 4900 Olive Ave. Olivehurst, CA 95961, on Saturday, Aug. 8, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. for family and friends. A celebration of life will follow at Hallwood Community Church, 2825 Highway 20, in Marysville, CA at 1 p.m.
