Obituary of William Delmar "Del" Taylor

William Delmar "Del" Taylor, age 87, of Olivehurst, passed away peacefully at his home on June 6, 2015. He was born on August 10, 1927, in Leslie, Arkansas to Lester and Euna (Kimbrell) Taylor. Del was a building contractor for more than 60 years. He was a long time member of E Clampus Vitus, La Porte Chapter. In his spare time, Del enjoyed working on classic cars, boats, and motorcycles. Mr. Taylor is survived by his wife of 9 years, Evelyn Taylor, of Olivehurst; son, Duane (Peggy) Taylor of Loma Rica; grandsons, Greg (Christie) Taylor of Yuba City and Phil Taylor of Chico; 4 great grandchildren; and brother, Elvin (Nadine) Taylor of Yuba City. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Pauline Taylor and two sons, Danny and Bruce Taylor. A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 15, 2015, at 10 a.m. at Sierra View Memorial Park. Sierra View Mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements.
