Obituary of Albert Nobel Snook

Albert Nobel Snook, 88, of Hilo, HI and a longtime resident of the Yuba-Sutter area, passed away on May 6, 2015 with his family by his side, at the Yukio Okutsu State Veteran's Home in Hilo, HI. He was born in Tahlequah, OK on May 23, 1926. He had many accomplishments; Albert was a U.S. Army WWII European Theatre veteran, owner and operator of Snook's TV and Repair in Marysville, CA, a member of the Foresters, VFW, American Legion, Elks BPOE and the Loyal Order of Moose where he held a Pilgrim degree. Albert was preceded in death by William Roy Snook, father; Mary Martha Gertrude (Rhea) Snook, mother; Neal Louis Snook, son; 4 sisters and 4 brothers. He is survived by his life partner, Joanne Ellison of Hilo, HI; a brother, Marvin Snook of Kingman, AZ; 2 sons, Larry Dean Snook of Hilo, HI and Jerel Gene Snook of Marysville, CA; stepdaughter, Kathleen Ellison of Florence, OR; 58 grandchildren. A viewing will be at Sierra View Chapel at 4900 Olive Ave. in Olivehurst, on May 18, 2015 from 10am to 1pm, followed by graveside services at 2pm.
