Obituary of James Nelson Napper
James (Jim) Napper, age 92, of Smartsville, passed away peacefully in his home on March 4, 2015. He was born in Grafton, North Dakota on January 30, 1923, to Rupert and Tena Napper. Jim was a World War II veteran. He worked in construction (building Dams in Washington, Montana, New York and California) for most of his life, and he enjoyed fishing, horses and spending time with his family and grandkids. He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Betty, and is survived by his five children, seven grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and sister, Jean Williams of Spokane, Washington. Graveside services are being held on Wednesday, March 11, at 12:30 p.m. at Sierra View Memorial Park in Olivehurst.
