Obituary of Ila Anderson (Van Cleave)

Ila Anderson, age 106, of Yuba City, passed away peacefully on February 21, 2015. She was born in Denver, Colorado on May 3, 1908, to Oscar and Elizabeth (Singleton) Van Cleave. Ila was a homemaker for many years. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and crocheting, but most of all, she loved spending time with her family. She was an incredibly loving grandmother and was always happy to babysit and be involved with their lives. Ila was a very kind person and never had a negative thing to say about anyone. She was the proud matriarch of 6 generations of her family, and she will be dearly missed. Mrs. Anderson is survived by her daughter: Patricia Gingrich; grandchildren: Lora Gingrich, Calvin Pack, Steve Gingrich, and Leroy Gingrich; and numerous great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and great great great grandchildren. Per Ila's wishes, there will be no services, and committal will be private at Sierra View Memorial Park. Sierra View Mortuary is assisting the family with the arrangements.
