Obituary of Isabel Carrasco (Rodriguez)
Isabel Carrasco, age 87, of Marysville, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family, on November 19, 2014. She was born on August 26, 1927, in Chandler, Arizona to Salomen and Anastasia Rodriguez. Isabel worked as a sorter for 22 years for Sunsweet Growers in Yuba City. She was a resident of Yuba County for 54 years and was a member of Comite Mexicano de Beneficenia. Isabel was preceded in death by her spouse, Antonio Carrasco, one sister, Alice Delgado, one brother, Trinidad Rodriguez, and one grandson, T. David Banuelos. She is survived by her daughter, Louise Locklin of Marysville, son, Anthony P. Carrasco of Marysville, 4 granddaughters, 11 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren. "Nana" will be greatly missed by her family and friends. A recitation of the holy Rosary will be said on Tuesday, November 25, at 7 p.m. at Sierra View Mortuary. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 26, at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 702 C Street, in Marysville, with committal to follow at Sierra View Memorial Park. Sierra View Mortuary is assisting the family with the arrangements.
