Obituary of Michelle Lynn Peterson (Taylor)

Michelle Lynn Peterson, age 48, of Olivehurst, passed away peacefully at home on November 15, 2014. She was born on April 8, 1966, in Yuba City, California to Harry Taylor and Sharon Kay Moore. Michelle was a direct descendent of Zachary Taylor, a Commander of the 2nd Division of the U.S. Army, and George Taylor, a signer of the Declaration of Independence. She was a homemaker and enjoyed the Lake Francis Club in Dobbins, her Shetland pony, Ebony, swimming in Lake Francis, and hiking to the waterfalls on Slate Creek in the Sierra Mountains. She will be dearly missed. Michelle is survived by her beloved husband, Geven Peterson; sons: Joshua Michael and Steven Joseph; 9 grandchildren; her father: Harry Taylor; and brothers: Dennis, Simeon, and Levi Taylor. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Mark William Taylor and Vincent L. Taylor and her mother, Sharon. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2014, at Sierra View Mortuary with committal to follow at Sierra View Memorial Park. Sierra View Mortuary is assisting the family with the arrangements.
