Obituary of AvaLee Arlene "Ava" Moorhead

AvaLee Arlene Moorhead, age 72, of Yuba City, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2014. She was born on April 26, 1942, in Mesa, Arizona to R. Lee Moorhead and Adelaide S. Caldwell. Ava was a bookkeeper for over 35 years and worked at Sam's Club for many of those years. She is survived by her son: James E. Hall, Jr.; siblings: Marilyn Goodfield, Beverly Stafura, Patsy Johnson (Jack), James Jones, III, Dennis Jones, Steven Jones, and Linda Moorhead; grandsons: Jason Hall and Johnathan Flynn; her niece: Tera Bullis; and grandnephew: Bradley Bullis. Ava was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter: Debbra Gaylene Hall Flynn. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 4 at 3 p.m. at Crossroads Community Church. Committal will be private. Sierra View Mortuary is assisting the family with the arrangements.
