Obituary of Edna Mae McDaniel

Edna Mae McDaniel passed away peacefully at her home on May 19, 2014, with her daughter and grandson by her side. She was born October 4, 1929 at Summerfield, OK. She was one of four children. Edna married Kenneth McDaniel at age 17. They moved out to California in December of 1955. She had 8 children one died at child birth. She became a bartender and worked in almost every bar in Marysville, she always worked the Bok Kai festival until she got to old. She was also a homemaker and mother. She always had a sense of humor and could make most anyone laugh. She had cancer in 1976 and survived it and continued to work until her retirement. She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth McDaniel and grandson John Hendricks. She is survived by 7 children: Kenneth E. McDaniel, Mary Ann Wood, Edna Bell, John McDaniel, Jack McDaniel, Ed McDaniel, Tim McDaniel; and brother- in-law Orval Sanders. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren. A Graveside Service will be held Thursday, May 29, 2014 at Sierra View Memorial Park at 12:30 p.m.
