Obituary of Judith Kay Moore (Odem)

Judith Kay Moore, age 72, of Olivehurst, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2014. She was born on February 9, 1942, in Atlantic, Iowa to Gail Gordon and Beulah D. Odem. Judy worked at Montgomery Ward for 20+ years before becoming employed with Gray's Business Services. After several years as an employee with Gray's Business Services, she became the Owner in 2012. She served on committees such as Central Valley Homeless, Friends of Californians, and Yuba-Sutter/Colusa Employer Advisory Council. She is survived by 3 daughters, Justine Widener of Olivehurst, Kalee Minor (Dan) of Olivehurst, Nikki Moore of Yuba City, step daughter, Theresa Alexander (Paul) of Oroville, step son, James Edward Moore, Jr. (Sue) of Phoenix, AZ, sister in law, Laurie Moore of Mt. Shasta, CA, 14 Grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 3 nieces, 1 nephew, 2 great nephews and many friends whom she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Moore, Sr., brother in law, William Moore, and grandson, Steven Moore. A Celebration of Judy's Life will be held on Friday, April 18, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. at Sierra View Mortuary. There will be a reception to follow. Judy will be laid to rest at Mount Shasta Memorial Park at a later date. Sierra View Mortuary is assisting the family with the arrangements.
