Raymond (Dale) Phipps 11/26/1941 - 3/30/2014 Raymond (Dale) Phipps passed away following a brief illness. He was born in Westwood, CA to Mary Ellen and Raymond Phipps. He graduated from Westwood High School and soon after joined the United States Air Force. He was self employed his whole life, having been a real estate broker, developer and business owner. He owned and operated the Barker Hotel in Old Town Roseville for 35 years. He knew and helped many people. He leaves behind his loving wife of 40 years, Dotty; children: Monty (Jutta), Michael (Natalie), and Suzanne; grandchildren: Shannan, Dimi, Michael, Dylan, and Christopher; great grandchildren: Adrianna and Alex; his aunt, Vera; sister-in-law: Colleen; and many cousins and friends. Special thanks to the 59ers for their support and care. At Dale's request, there will be a private graveside service. Sierra View Mortuary is assisting the family with the arrangements.
