Obituary of Ruth Evelyn Kimerer (Parish)

Ruth Evelyn Kimerer, age 88, of Olivehurst, passed away peacefully on February 19, 2014. She was born on October 23, 1925, in Clinton, Oklahoma to Forest Edward and Etta Anna (Carpenter) Parish. Ruth worked in construction, alongside her beloved husband, Dallas Kimerer, for over 30 years. She enjoyed painting and quilting and being with her family. She loved the outdoors and going for long drives. Ruth also collected rocks and collected driftwood that she would craft into yard decorations and lamps. Mrs. Kimerer is survived by her son, Forest Kimerer, two daughters, Linda Needlemen and Denise Green, 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, and two sisters. Friends and family are invited to visit on Monday, March 3, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Sierra View Mortuary. A chapel service will be held at the mortuary on Monday at 1 p.m. Private committal will take place at Sierra View Memorial Park. Sierra View Mortuary is assisting the family with the arrangements.
