Obituary of Judith Lynn Hicks

JUDITH LYNN HICKS lost her valiant battle with cancer on Feb 8th, 2014. She was born in Portland Oregon on July 17th, 1945. She was preceded in death by her grandmother Verle Mathews, Mother Jean Mathews Glazier, and brother Clifford Dexter. She is survived by her husband of 45 years (Harold) Ed Hicks, twin sons, Ed (Nikki) and Steven Hicks (Chay), sister Marleena Reiser (Ron) and six grandchildren. Judy was a loving wife, mother, and dedicated grandmother. She was a great teacher for MJUSD for 35 years and was very competitive. She loved to spend time with her family and enjoyed bowling. A memorial service will be held Crossroads Community Church in Yuba City on Friday, 14th of February at 2pm. A private burial will be held for her family on Thursday. A special thanks to Chay Hicks, Patricia Hicks, and Sutter North Hospice for keeping Judy so comfortable during her final moments.
