Obituary of lorandal Duane "Buster" Rohrig

L. D. Rohrig (Buster), 84, quietly passed away Sunday, December 8, 2013 at his home in Yuba City, California. The oldest of 4 children, Buster was born in Old Fort, Tennessee on December 1, 1929 to Raymond and Jessie (Epperson) Rohrig. He was married the love of his life, Imogene Wilson on May 31, 1958 in Carson City, Nevada. They were married for 40 years at the time of her death in 1998. Buster worked for Caltrans for over 30 years. He had many interests, some included coin and book collecting but his greatest love was singing around the piano with his family and friends. Buster is survived by his five children and three step children: Brad Rohrig of Mountain Home, Arkansas, Kathy (Rohrig) Rice of Browns Valley, California, Vicki (Rohrig) Dunn of Mountain Home, Arkansas, Beth (Rohrig) Barnes, of Yuba City, California, Stanley Rohrig of Yuba City, California, Alva Jean (Delozier) Noto of Coeur D'alene, Idaho, Tim Delozier of Dobbins California and Farren Delozier of Marysville, California. He is also survived by one brother, Raymond Dale Rohrig of Salem, Orealso survived by one brother, Raymond Dale Rohrig of Salem, Oregon and one sister, Carlyn Sawyer of Ukiah, California, twelve grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, a grandson, both parents and one brother. There will be a graveside service held Friday, December 13, 2013 at Sierra View Memorial Park at 1:00 pm with Elder Houston Kelley officiating. Viewing is scheduled Thursday, December 12, 2013 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm also at Sierra View Memorial Park. The family will greet friends and relatives at Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Live Oak, California at a reception following the graveside service.
