Obituary of Daisy M. Palacio

Daisy Palacio 85, of Yuba City passed away peacefully on October 31, 2013 under the extraordinary care of the Rideout Hospital staff. Born on April 20, 1928, to Arthur and Margaret Waters, Daisy was one of 5 children raised in the Yuba-Sutter area. Daisy is survived by her husband of 52 years, Victor, son Larry Gamble (Hellen), granddaughter Deanna Shoopman, of Yuba City, great grandchildren, Nicole Yelland (Danny), Cassie and Rick and great-great grandson, Maddox Yelland. She is also survived by her sister Pat Saunders (Aubrey) of Virginia as well as many beloved nieces and nephews. Daisy was preceded in death by her brothers Brownie and Cecil and sister Ruth Stone. Viewing will take place at Sierra View Memorial Park in Olivehurst on Wednesday, November 6, 2013, from 9:00 a.m. - 10:45 a.m. followed by a Memorial Service in the Chapel beginning at 11:00 a.m. The family asks that the ladies wear their favorite high heels in honor of Daisy's love of wearing pretty high heels.
