Pui King Young Pui King Young, 75, passed away after a prolonged illness on Thursday, February 19, 2009 at Rideout Hospital in Marysville, CA. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Man Tat Young and their six children; Jimmy Young of Tampa, FL, John Young of Marysville, CA, Lily Johnson of San Jose, CA, Tony Young of Yuba City, CA, Jerry Young of San Jose, CA, and Nancy Young of Sacramento, CA. She is also survived by ten Grandchildren, two Great-Grandchildren, two brothers currently residing in San Francisco, and four sisters who are residing in China. she is preceded in death by one grandson, Craig Johnson Jr. Pui King Young was born on September 14, 1933 in Canton, China. She married Man Tat Young on February 8, 1949 and later moved to Hong Kong. She and her family then immigrated to Marysville, CA in 1969 where she spent the remainder of her years. In 1973 Pui King Young and Man Tat Young became the proud owners and operators of a local restaurant call Sing Chong. This establishment remained in their tender loving care until retirement 15 years later. Upon retirement Pui King Young devoted her time to caring for her husband, home and grandchildren. Services will be held on Tuesday, February 24, 2009 at 2:00PM at Sierra View Mortuary with Pastor Al Jolley officiating. Visitation will be on Monday, February 23, 2009 between the hours of 5:00PM to 7:00PM also at Sierra View Mortuary.
