Obituary of Wilma Emily Wormley

Wilma Emily (Springer/Honig) Wormley passed away peacefully on March 31, 2012 at Rideout Memorial Hospital in Marysville, California. She was born to William and Zola Springer on February 17, 1930 in Biggs, California. Wilma was a graduate of Yuba City High School and attended Yuba College. She worked as a Dental Assistant and was a Teacher's Aide working with deaf and mentally challenged students at Butte Vista and Lincrest schools. Wilma loved her work and students dearly. She is survived by her loving son, Kevin T. Honig, his wife Marcella; and her dearly loved grandchildren, Sy and Allie Honig. Wilma is also survived by her brothers, Wayne (Rosie) and Delbert (Joann) Springer; her 2 sisters, Doreen Wolverton and Leotta Martin; her great aunt Alice Woollett; and many loving nieces and nephews. Wilma was preceded in death by her parents, Bill Springer and Zola Moak Springer Hessee; and her husband, Larry Wormley. Visitation will be on Monday, April 9, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Sierra View Mortuary in Olivehurst, California with the Recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 p.m., recited by Gary Tindel. The Mass of the Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Isidore Catholic Church in Yuba City, California with Fr. Arlon Vergara officiating. Burial to follow at Sierra View Memorial Park. Donations may be made to the charity of your choice. Jon Fullerton is the funeral director in charge of arrangements.
