John, age 59, passed away peacefully at his residence in Olivehurst, California. A California native, he has lived in the Yuba/Sutter area for 59 years. John was retired from Danna & Danna as a mechanic/welder after 25 years. A true outdoorsman, he enjoyed guns and hunting & fishing. John is survived by his son, John Wilson, Jr. of Maine; his daughter, Maggie Pettet; 2 sisters, Judy Dech of Marysville and Linda Wilson of Olivehurst. He is also survived by his brother, James Timothy Wilson, Sr. of Olivehurst; and a companion, Ginger Stafford of Olivehurst, along with her 2 daughters, Breanna and Brandee. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at the New Life Assembly Church, 5736 Arboga Rd. in Olivehurst, California. Pastor Al Moody will be officiating. Jon Fullerton is the funeral director in charge of arrangements.
