Obituary of Nina Dean Webb

Nina, age 85, was born April 6, 1925 in Leedy, Oklahoma and went home to her Lord February 4, 2011 in Yuba City, California. She was born to Lawrence Adrian Cavasos and Addie Epsey Cavasos of Oklahoma and was the 3rd of 7 children. Nina was the mother of 8 children. Surviving her is 1 son, Roy Wayne Eddings of Nevada; 3 daughters, Nina Ruth Coker, Candy Kay Reiser and Sharon Sitton, all of California. She is also survived by 3 brothers, William Elmer Cavasos of California, Harvey "Bud" Lee Cavasos of Missouri and Earl Cavasos of Oklahoma; 2 sisters, Verna Mae Sheldon and Mary Griffin, both of Oklahoma; 50+ grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Preceding her in death were 2 daughters, Karen Lynn McDaniels of Alaska and Imogene Stewart of Oklahoma; 2 sons, Thomas Marshall Eddings of California and James Dean Webb of Missouri, (who happened to die on the same date as his mother); a sister, Ethel Mowles of Oklahoma; and 2 husbands, Thomas Marshall Eddings and James Howard Webb; Nina was a homemaker and worked many different jobs until she became a custodian at the Covillaud School in East Marysville, California. She was a member of the Wheatland Baptist Church in Wheatland, California, loved studying the Bible and hearing the words of God. Always busy making little gifts for friends and family, she was very good at crocheting, knitting and loved giving something to everyone on Christmas and birthdays. Nina enjoyed most visiting with friends and family, always was happy when someone stopped by for a visit. A Memorial Service will be held this Friday, February 11, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Wheatland Baptist Church, 712 Olive Ave. Wheatland, California. Arrangements under the direction of Jon L. Fullerton, Funeral Director.
