Obituary of Wanda Louise Swearingen

Wanda, age 84, passed away peacefully at Rideout Memorial Hospital in Marysville, California. A native of Dyer, Arkansas, she has lived in the Yuba/Sutter area for over 69 years. She had retired from the Delmares Convalescent Hospital in Marysville, and attended the Feather River Baptist Church in Olivehurst before her health failed. Wanda loved yard sales and antiques stores. She is survived by her daughter, Nina Story of Olivehurst, California and her 6 grandchildren. Wanda was preceded in death by her husband Calvin Swearingen (1992); her sister, Mary Spade (2011) and her grandson, Jay Spade (2007). Visitation will be on Monday, February 6, 2012 from 9 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at Sierra View Mortuary in Olivehurst, California. Funeral services are at 11:00 a.m. with burial following at Sierra View Memorial Park. Pastor Miguel Jurna of the First Baptist Church of Olivehurst will be officiating. Jon Fullerton is the funeral director in charge of arrangements.
