Marlene, age 76, of Marysville, California passed away on March 11, 2011. She was born on June 1, 1934 in Scottsville Virginia. She had been a Yuba/Sutter resident for 45 years. Marlene was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Wayne Strawn in 1983. Both were employed by the Marysville Post Office for 30+ years; her father, James Kidd, Jr., mother, Bernice Crenshaw Kidd. Survivors include her 3 sons, Jimmy & Larry Mazzuca & Darren Nunes, 3 daughters, Connie Swanson, Cheryl Knittle, and Jodi Nunes Johnson & 9 grand children. Graveside services will be at noon on Friday, March 18, 2011 at Sierra View Memorial Park in Olivehurst, California. Pastor Al Jolley will be officiating. A reception will follow at the Moose Lodge in Olivehurst, California. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Breast Cancer Society. Jon L. Fullerton is the funeral director in charge of arrangements.
