Obituary of Robert "Bob" Stevens

Robert (Bob) Stevens, 92, of Newport, OR, passed away May 10, 2010. Born in Altoona, Pennsylvania in 1917 and was a Yuba Sutter resident for 31 years and 3 years in Newport OR. Bob enjoyed success as a life insurance executive for 30 years and then co-founded Showcase Realty from which he retired as a Real Estate Broker in 2001 at the age of 82. He was a member of the Masons for over 65 years. Survivors include 4 children, 13 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Roberta Stevens in Jan 1997, brother Ed and sister Shirley. Service: A graveside service is at 11:00 am Tuesday May 18 at Sierra View Cemetery, 4498 Olive Ave Olivehurst. Pastor Jim Clark of Crossroads Community Church in Yuba City will officiate the service. Arrangements are under the direction of Sierra View Mortuary.
