Obituary of M. Nadine Stephenson

M. Nadine Stephenson Passed on April 22, 2012 Born June 1, 1926 in Seminole County, Oklahoma, to James Virgil Clevenger and Minnie Lorraine Gilstrap Clevenger. Nadine was the youngest of 5 children, and was preceded in death by both parents; her sister, Pearl Luv Cusic; her brother, James Ben Clevenger; and infant siblings, Ladele and Lon Ray Clevenger; and by her infant daughter, Barbara Nadine Stephenson(aged 3 months, 3 weeks). Nadine married Albert Jack Stephenson on April 3, 1942. They shared 64 years of marriage prior to Albert's passing November 14, 2006. Nadine is survived by her 2 daughters, Betty J. Maddox of Roseville and Rebecca S. Gatti of Burbank; her son, A. Jack Stephenson Jr. (Patricia) of Wilton; 4 grandchildren, Stacey L. Maddox (Beth O'Neill) of Sacramento; Jennifer A. Dorris (Rick) of Rocklin; M. Sean Stephenson (Mary) of Sacramento; and Aimee M. Shearer (Alan) of Sacramento. In addition, she is also survived by her 9 great-grandchildren, Joseph Maddox, Mackenzie Greenreich, Haylee Dorris, Allison Dorris, Skylar Stephenson, Brennen Stephenson, Carl Shearer, Leah Shearer, and Isabel Shearer. Visitation will be at Sierra View Mortuary, 4900 Olive Ave., Olivehurst, CA 95961 on Monday, April 30, 2012 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the chapel, with the funeral service beginning at 1:00 p.m. Pastor John Treherne will be officiating and the soloist is Cheryl Bangs, both of Bayside Church of Citrus Heights. Burial to follow at Sierra View Memorial Park. Jon Fullerton is the funeral director in charge of arrangements.
