Doris, age 83, passed away peacefully at the Yuba Skilled Nursing Center in Yuba City, California. A native of Minneapolis, Minnesota, she has lived in the Yuba-Sutter area for over 5 years. Doris, a homemaker for 64 years, enjoyed gardening, reading, cooking, cross-word puzzles and playing with her grandkids. She is survived by her 3 sons, Hal Palmer of Eugene, Oregon, Tony Bud Palmer of Darlington, Wisconsin and Tim Palmer of Cold Springs, Minnesota; by 2 daughters, Sandra Harder of Wheatland, California and Vicki Simpson of Junction City, Oregon. Doris is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. Cremation is planned at Sierra View Crematory in Olivehurst, California. Inurnment will be private. Jon Fullerton is the funeral director in charge of arrangements.
