Minnie Shackelford, age 97, passed away at her residence in Orlando, Florida on January 17, 2011. She was born in Antlers, Oklahoma to William J. Wingfield and Amanda Jane (Musser) Wingfield December 18, 1913. A longtime resident of Yuba County, Minnie moved to Orlando, Florida in 2001. She is survived by one son, Clarence D. Shackelford of Orlando, Florida, 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Minnie was preceded in death by her husband Julius Clarence Shackelford, a daughter, Patricia Ann (Shackelford) Will, 3 sisters, Mary, Eva and Lenore, 4 half-brothers, Jim, Logan, Sam and Garret and a 2 half-sisters, Emily and Annie. A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 27, 2011 from 8:00 am to 10:00 am at Sierra View Mortuary with funeral services immediately following. Pastor Al Jolley will be officiating. Burial to follow at Sierra View Memorial Park in Olivehurst, California. Jon L. Fullerton is the funeral director in charge of arrangements.
