Dona Lou Schultz, 74, of Olivehurst, CA passed away Friday, January 23, 2009, at Rideout Memorial Hospital. She was born April 11, 1934, to Gustav and Violet Mundinger in Bertha, MN. Dona graduated from Lincoln High School in 1952 in Thief River Falls, MN. On February 21, 1959 Dona married John Lewis Schultz Jr. at Ellsworth A.F.B. in Rapid City, SD. In 1998 she retired from civil service at mcclellan A.F.B. in Sacramento, CA with 22 years of service. Dona was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and great grandmother. Survivors include her husband of 49 years, John L. Schultz Jr. of Olivehurst, CA, daughter Kim and son-in-law Victor Garcia of Olivehurst, CA, son Jay and daughter-in-law Teresa Schultz of Olivehurst, CA, 4 grandsons and 1 great grand daughter, 3 sisters and 1 brother. She is preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, Larry and Richard Mundinger, and 1 sister, Ramona Berens. Pall bearers are Jay Schultz, Victor Garcia, John Schultz III, Andrew Schultz, Keegan Burton and Virgial Ginn. Visitation on Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2009, from 5 pm to 8 pm at Sierra View Mortuary in Olivehurst, CA. Funeral Service at 11 am on Wednesday, Jan. 28th, at Faith Lutheran Church, 1000 D St. in Marysville, CA with Pastor Kirk Shipley officiating. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to Shriner's Hospital for Crippled Children or American Cancer Society.
