Paquita Chasteen Roberts 84, of Auburn, California passed away on July 7, 2010. She was born on December 4, 1925 in Bokchito, Oklahoma. She was a homemaker and a Yuba-Sutter resident for 43 yrs. Paquita was a very dedicated mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who enjoyed keeping in constant touch via email. Survivors include her husband, Murice Weldon Roberts of Auburn, CA, her brothers, Ambrose G. Roy of Roseville, CA, and Harland Roy of Brownsville, CA; her son, Lyn M. Roberts of Mt. Morris, NY; her daughter, Rhonda Gayle Meissler, of Middletown, CA; her son, Randy Roberts, of Yelm, WA; 8 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren & 2 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Pamela Sharon Sumpter of Rifle, CO. Memorial services will be at 11am on Saturday, July 10, at the Marysville Nazarene Church. Memorial contributions should be directed to Sutter Auburn Faith Hospice, 1175 Education St. Suite 201, Auburn, CA 95602. Inurnment is planned in October at Sierra View Memorial Park. Jon L. Fullerton is the funeral director in charge of arrangements.
