John, age 91, passed away peacefully at the Willow Springs Assisted Living Center in Redding, California. A native of Louisianna, he has lived in Shasta county for 5 years. Previously, he had lived in the Yuba/Sutter area for many years. John was retired from the United States Air Force as a Pilot. He is survived by his 3 daughters, Carolyn Griffith of Redding, California; Tammy Ambler and Terri Redmond, both of Lake County, California; 2 sons, Marvin Redmond of Lakehead, California and Robert Redmond of Los Angeles, Californa; and 9 grandchildren. Cremation is planned at the Sierra View Memorial Park Crematory in Olivehurst, California. Services will be private. Jon Fullerton is the funeral director in charge of arrangements.
