Obituary of Willie DeForrest Mock

Willie Deforest Mock Jr. passed away at the age of 78 on December 12, 2009 peacefully in his home with his wife by his side in Marysville where he lived for almost fifty years. He was born in Los Angeles County, CA on August 25, 1931 to Valda (Elafritz) and Willie D. Mock Sr. He served our country in the Korean War from 1951- 1953. He was a retired Electrician from Chapman Electric and with the local I.B.E.W. union. He was a Mason and recipiant of the Hiram Award. He was a past Master of Corinthians Lodge #9 (the head of the White Shrine), and worthy patron and member of the Central Sacramento Valley Shriner's Club and of the Eastern Star. He was a Jobes Daughter volunteer. He participated as a Demalee Father as an advisor for several years. Bill also was a member of the local HAM Radio club in the event of emergency broadcast needs. Survivors include his loving wife Ramona B. Mock; his daughter Kathy Sparlin, and son Mark Mock of Marysville. He is also survived by his daughter-in-law Margie Mock of Sacramento. Preceeded in death by his son Wyatt Mock. Bill had the love of many grandchildren and great-grand children. The family would to Thank Dr. Tran and Dr. Chin and Dr. Gill for their great care. Viewing will be held Monday, December 21, 2009 from 11:00AM-1:00PM with the service to follow at 1:00PM at Sierra View Mortuary, 4900 Olive Ave., Olivehurst, CA
