Alfred Lujan 77, took his last breath in the comfort of his home surrounded by his wife of 56 years, Bertha; his children, Christine, Diane, Edward, Felicia, Genevieve, Harvey, Ina; their spouses, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He proudly served 28 years in the United States Air Force; a veteran of two wars. After his military retirement he moved his family back to the Yuba-Sutter area and worked for the State of California Social Services Department until his retirement at age 62. A loving and devoted family man, Al wished to be remembered mostly for his service to God, country and family. A Rosary service will be held Wed., Nov. 30th, 7:00 pm at Sierra View Mortuary in Olivehurst, California. Funeral Mass will be held Thursday Dec. 1st, 10:00 am at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Marysville, California. Military Honors for SMSgt Lujan will be provided by the Beale AFB Honor Guard. There will be a Celebration of Life at the parish hall following the service. Inurnment will be private. We Love You Papa! Mark S. Eliason is the funeral counselor in charge of arrangements.
