Darlene, age 84, passed away at UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento, California. A native of Kansas, she has lived in the Yuba/Sutter area for over 52 years. Darlene had retired from the Appeal-Democrat newspaper as a paper carrier after 52 years. She is survived by her son, Larry Lowery of Marysville, California. Cremation is planned at the Sierra View Memorial Park Crematory. Inurnment will be private. Jon Fullerton is the funeral director in charge of arrangements.
