Velma, age 91, passed away peacefully at The Fountains Assisted Living Facility in Yuba City, California. A native of Aberdine, South Dakota, she has lived in Sutter county for 7 years. Velma was a homemaker for over 71 years. She is survived by her son, Ray Baker of Marysville; her 2 grandchildren, Brian Baker of Yuba City, California and Karrie Baker of Live Oak, California; 5 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson. Cremation is planned at the Sierra View Memorial Park Crematory. Services will be private. Jon Fullerton is the funeral director in charge of arrangements.
