Obituary of Jesse Zavala Lemus

Querido esposo, padre, hermano, y amigo a muchos. Nacio en Michoacan, Mexico y vino a los Estados Unidos en 1948. Se caso con Elpidia en 1967. Tuvieron 3 hijos. Es sobrevivido por su esposa Elpidia, y sus hijos, Eduardo de Marysville, CA, Estela (esposo Dagoberto Mora) de San Jose, CA, y Patricia (Mateo Bischoff) de Salinas, CA.; tres nietos: Julian, Lucas y Ivan, y una nieta, Gabriela; sus hermanos Hermilo (difunto), Roberto y hermana Concepcion. Jesse trabajo en el campo por mas de 65 anos y con la compania Naumes desde el 1978. Ha vivido en Marysville por mas de 47 anos. Visitaciones en Sierra View Mortuary el Jueves, Septiembre 29 de 5-8 de la tarde. El rosario empesara a las 7 de la noche. La misa con cuerpo presente empezara a las 1:30 de la tarde en la iglesia de San Jose en Marysville. Sera sepultado despues de la misa en el cementerio Sierra View Memorial Park. Jon Fullerton es el director de la funeraria encargada de los arreglos. Jesse (Jesus) Lemus, age 81, passed away peacefully at Rideout Memorial Hospital in Marysville, California. A native of Michoacan, Mexico, he has lived in the Yuba/Sutter area for over 46 years. A retired farm laborer for over 65 years, Jesse is survived by his wife, Elpidia Lemus of Olivehurst; his son, Eduardo Lemus of Marysville; 2 daughters, Patricia Bischoff (Mateo) of Salinas and Estela (Dagoberto Mora) Lemus of San Jose; 4 grandchildren, Julian, Lucas, Gabriela and Ivan; his brother, Roberto and his sister, Concepcion. He was preceded in death by his brother, Hermilo. Visitation will be on Thursday, September 29, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Sierra View Mortuary in Olivehurst, with the recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be on Friday, September 30, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Marysville. Burial to follow at Sierra View Memorial Park. Jon Fullerton is the funeral director in charge of arrangements.
