Gwendolyn Ann Lee 69, of Olivehurst, passed away at her home on April 7, 2010. She was born on November 27, 1940 in Phoenix, AZ. She was retired from her employment including Foster Farms near Waterford, CA and Harders Cannery in Yuba City. Survivors include her son Charles Lee Hughes Jr., (wife Shelly) of Okla.; Daughter, April Dawn DeSousa of Marysville, CA; Grandson, Peter Jordan Garcia, of Olivehurst; Granddaughter, Kyra Daniella Davis of Marysville; Grandsons, David Sun Calapini, Jr. of Marysville; Jason Roland Hughes of Okla. (wife Thelma); Eric Rollin Hughes of Okla.; many great grandchildren, many many nieces & nephews, etc. 2 sisters, Donnie Lasky and Pat Davis, both of Olivehurst.Good friends Ginny & Loeta, both from Olivehurst; She was preceded in death by her parents, Emery & Martha Lee. 5 sisters; Ruby Lee, Barbara Bryant, Wanda Knouse, Mary DeLozier, & Bonnie Manges, 3 brothers; Donald Lee, Doyle Lee & Dannie Lee; 3 Grandsons, Charles II, Ronnie & Rocky Hughes. Graveside services will be at 2pm on Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at Sierra View Memorial Park with Rev. Ray Davis officiating. A Celebration of Life will follow at 1901 7th Ave., Olivehurst. Cake, coffee and punch will be served at the rec. hall.
